SpanishDict - A very useful Spanish translation and learning tool. SpanishDict can be used as a dictionary (without violating the school's honor code) when writing graded papers, and as a full-fledged translator program during private study. The website also incorporates an instructional section with audio resources and flash cards.
Cramster - The best fully-featured homework help website on the internet. Cramster is a student community with two primary features: a very active forum (with a point system that encourages members to respond to questions very quickly), and a database of worked homework problems from a wide array of textbooks (many of which are used at JSRCC). Math students will find this website extremely useful.
Wolfram Alpha - A self-described "computational engine" based on Mathematica, Wolfram Alpha can solve problems from multiple disciplines - most notably advanced math and chemistry. What makes Wolfram truly valuable is its ability to lay out the steps of the problem-solving process in an intelligible manner. I find this website very useful when checking homework problems without a solutions manual.
Academic Support Center - As a student at JSRCC, you are entitled to two fifty-minute sessions of free peer tutoring each week. This is a consistently under-rated and under-utilized opportunity - if you find yourself struggling in one of your classes, you should take advantage of it. The tutors are very helpful and very competent, and may be able to help you bump your grade up by a letter or two.
