Why are some of the quizzes and materials labeled "(S)"? What does that mean?

The "S" stands for "special". Documents and applications with parenthetical S's next to their titles were designed for classes taught by specific instructors in the J. Sargeant Reynolds faculty. While they will still function as general-purpose study tools, the "special" quizzes, notes, and materials will serve you best if you are being taught by the instructor for whom the quiz was designed.

The following bugs and limitations are listed in order of fix priority. All of these problems result from limitations inherent to this website's quiz engine.

• Only one translation is marked correct for English words or phrases with two or more potential meanings - it's completely random which translation is considered correct.
• Only one translation is marked correct for Spanish words or phrases with two or more potential meanings.
• Most nouns referring to people are presented in masculine form.
• All adjectives are presented in masculine form.
